James (Jim) Sorensen
It is with deep sorrow that the Wound³ team acknowledges the passing of Mr. Jim Sorensen on July 17, 2023. Over the past two years, Jim, alongside Marlene Sorensen, has been a beacon of hope and generosity to the biomedical research endeavors at the University of Alberta and our development of Wound³. Their philanthropic spirit has not just funded our research but has fueled our drive and passion.
Jim’s unwavering belief in Wound³ has been instrumental to our success, and we owe a debt of gratitude that words can scarcely express.
